1 When the Lord restored the fortunes of[a] Zion, we were like those who dreamed. 2 Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” 3 The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. 4 Restore our fortunes, Lord, like streams in the Negev. 5 Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. 6 Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.
Lord please teach me to have an inclusive faith. A life that is so full of You that my neighbours and friends say…
“What amazing things the Lord has done for him.”
Help me live a life that displays Your love but that’s not “showy”. May all those precious lives that are looking at me somehow only see You.
And use it all Lord. Help me not to hide my tears and brokenness; my humanness. Your laser light of hope and joy and gladness and restoration will be seen so much clearer. May my tears bring others a harvest of joy. Let all the world see how really great You are!
