Sri Lankan Orphans Gift Project Packing Days

Each year, C3 Carlingford organises, packs and sends over 4000 gifts to orphaned children living in Sri Lanka. Often this is the only gift each child will receive all year, and includes clothing, underwear, toiletries and personal items, writing materials and toys. This is a very special way that we can share the love of Christ, and we would love to invite you to get involved!

In order to send all these gifts, we hold packing days where each gift is packed and a card is written with each child’s name on it.

The Packing Days for 2017 will be held on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th September, with a special set up day on Thursday 28th September:

Thursday 28th – Set Up Day, 10am – 12pm at the Ministry Centre. Drivers with large boots are needed to transport items from the Ministry Centre to Carlingford High School Hall

Friday 29th – Pre Packing Day: organising gifts, 9.30am – 12.30pm at Carlingford High School Hall. This is a great day to bring kids along to help!

Saturday 30th – Packing Day, 9.30am – 4.30pm at Carlingford High School Hall (enter via Roselea Way).

We are also collecting bars of new, wrapped soap to send with the gifts, and you can get involved by bringing bars of soap to the 9am, 10.30am & 5.30pm services at church each week in the lead up to the packing days!
